ELeanor Domestic Short Hair Chicago, IL

We are so excited to welcome ELeanor to the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control family! This girl was either incredibly lucky or incredibly unlucky (we vote lucky!). She was hiding, terrified under the L tracks, and no one knows how she got there. A team of people tried to rescue her, and finally Tim Sluis of Tree Climber's Limb And Tree Service was able to ladder up and rescue her.
Safely down from her dangerous hidey hole, no one knew if the kitty would be friendly, petrified, or feral. It turns out she is SO friendly. Seriously, she is 100% love. It turns out that she was previously at CACC in 2019. At the time, she had a tail injury, so she had to have part of her tail amputated. This gives her a really unique look to match her really unique story.

While her original name at CACC was Buleria, we decided that she needs to be called ELeanor to commemorate her terrifying adventure and dramatic rescue. She is eagerly awaiting a forever home and giving all the headbutts to everyone she meets in the meantime.
ELeanor has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV tested negative. Her adoption fee of $95 helps support Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control in their mission to save Chicago's neediest animals.
