Meet Ed

Approx DOB: June 2022

Ed (ID#22088) is sweet, curious, and fast becoming a fantastic "hang-out" companion. While Ed was shy when he came to his foster home in August 2022 (with fellow kitten Bonnie), Ed has fast expanded his world and his new favorite pastime is getting scratches all over while he purrs enthusiastically. Ed came from a large, out-of-control colony, so his reticence to trust at first is understandable, but his growth has been truly inspiring. He would do well being adopted with one of his foster siblings (bold and brash MooMoo or shy violet Bonnie). His foster mom theorizes that Ed would be perfect for a quiet house where he can be lavished with lots of love - kids might overwhelm him, but he would love to hang out with a student or someone who works at home - he likes to play but he mostly thrives with hanging out on furniture and watching his humans. And of course, always ready to receive scritches!

All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax). Adoption fees are:
Baby (Kittens up to 1 year) = $125
Young & Adult (1-7 years) = $100
Seniors (8+ years) = $80

Please also read our Core Values prior to applying at www.furryfriendsnetwork.com/adopt/our-expectations.

If you are interested in adopting a cat(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / Adopt a Furry Friend / Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact catapplication@furryfriendsnetwork.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet cats you might be interested in. We are an all-volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent! Visit www.furryfriendsnetwork.com and look under Foster a Furry Friend. Furry Friends Network provides our foster homes with food, litter, crates/carriers as needed and miscellaneous other supplies as well as veterinary care.
