Echo's Story

Echo is a one-year-old tabby with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She was found abandoned at Fishtown Animal Hospital, so her early history is a bit of a mystery—but what she’s shown since then makes her unforgettable.

Echo is a true people-lover. She’s incredibly friendly, affectionate, and always eager for attention. She’s done well around young children, including a three-year-old neighbor, and enjoys being part of the action. Whether she’s climbing onto your lap, weaving around your legs, or demanding pets, Echo makes her presence known in the most endearing ways.

This sweet and sassy girl definitely knows what she likes and isn’t shy about telling you! She’s quite vocal when something doesn’t meet her standards, adding to her charm and personality. Echo has lots of kitten energy and loves playtime, especially with spring toys and wand teasers. When she’s not playing, you’ll likely find her eating, cuddling, or perched somewhere high, keeping an eye on her kingdom.

Echo would do best as the only pet in the home. She does not get along with other cats, and while she hasn’t been introduced to dogs, she would likely prefer a dog-free environment as well. She’s looking for a home where she can truly shine as the center of attention.

Her dislikes include car rides, nail trims, and sharing her space with other animals—but with the right person or family, Echo will bring endless love, entertainment, and companionship.

If you’re looking for a bold, affectionate companion who will rule your home (and your heart), Echo is ready to claim her throne.

DOB: 9/23/2025

Ready to make Echo part of your family forever? Fishtails Animal Rescue strives to provide you with a healthy pet. However, the stress of changing environments can lower an animal’s immunity to fight disease and the pet could harbor an infection without displaying symptoms. We cannot guarantee the health of any animal. Any pet adopted out by Fishtails Animal Rescue will be up-to-date on vaccines (unless medically contraindicated), microchipped, spayed/neutered (if age appropriate*), and given a dose of flea/heartworm preventative. The microchip must be registered by the adopter to their new information. *If the animal is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will do so within 2 months after the animal reaches 6 months of age. In addition, if pet is under 16 weeks at the time of adoption, adopter is responsible for boosters for vaccines. Fishtails Animal Rescues is located in Philadelphia, PA and accepts applications within the tri-state area. The first step in our adoption process is to complete the adoption application found on our website. Applications are reviewed within 72 hours of submissions.
