This sweet guy was born around September 2017
Rascal (black) and Dusty (Siamese mix) are bonded best friends who have lived together most of their lives. They are about 7-8 years old. These boys were abandoned at an apt. complex then taken in by a compassionate senior woman who was the community rescuer. She has a huge heart and couldn't say no to many, many homeless cats. Unfortunately her health began to decline so her sister began to frantically contact rescues to rehome her many cats. Desert Paws Rescue agreed to take these two bonded boys, knowing that it may take a while to find a home for two older kitties together. Dusty is very friendly and outgoing and goes with the flow. He loves to be close to his foster mom. Rascal is a sweetheart though timid at first, but he quickly welcomes petting and brushing. He looks to Dusty for comfort and strength. Both boys sleep with their foster mom. They get along with other cats and have great house manners (litter box, scratching post). They have periods of playfulness but mostly appreciate having a comfortable place to hang out and get attention. Rascal especially loves cat beds and Dusty loves canned food. Both adore treats!
He is neutered, microchipped, is FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
