Digby's Story

Meet Digby (aka "Digs", "Mr. Digs", "Small Sir") an estimated 9-week-old tuxedo kitten with a big personality and even bigger heart! This handsome little guy was found in a nearby culvert-dirty but determined-and despite his rough start, he's absolutely thriving in foster care, dressed for success in his now clean tuxedo. Digs is full of life and love! He enjoys: Playing with his foster humans, Exploring everything in sight, and Giving the sweetest face kisses. He's a very active, high-energy kitten and would do best in a home that can keep up with his playful spirit. Ideally, Digs would love a home with another friendly kitty companion to match his energy and keep him entertained. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and lively companion, Mr. Digs will bring so much joy and laughter into your life.

Shady's Paw Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are encouraged to complete an adoption application. Once an adoption application is submitted, one of our adoption coordinators will reach out for a phone interview. This is an informal conversation to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have. We will contact references, veterinarians, and complete a video home visit before final approval. This process can take 1-7 days depending on return time of calls. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and do not have a brick-and-mortar location for you to visit. Regular adoption events are held in Winchester VA and Martinsburg WV and beyond. Once approved, you can also request a private meet and greet. Kitties who are not yet spayed / neutered or need additional veterinary care will be placed in foster-to-adopt status with their adopter until their vetting is completed. Your adoption fee helps us to cover less than half of these costs. Additional donations are appreciated!
