Darla was found abandoned inside of a known drug dealing extended stay motel in Miami. She was impaled by a harness made for a kitten. Her rib cage was compressed to the point she could barely walk. She looked like she has swallowed a basketball. 48 hours after being rescued her tiny dehydrated and starved body gave birth to 5 babies! Although she was skin and bones she nursed and cleaned those babies like a champ. She’s been with our rescue for a few months now raising her babies and becoming a healthy weight. All of her babes have found their forever families and it is now time for this brave, loving and beautiful girl to find herself a family. Please do not come to adopt Darla unless you are certain she would never be abandoned by you under any circumstances in your control. She deserves better and we’re excited for her to get a real home for the very first time in her life. ?

Her adoption donation includes her spay, all age appropriate vaccinations and she’s also on her monthly flea prevention meds. In addition, Petsmart offers our adopters a complimentary bag/can of food and coupons worth over $400.00 for pet supplies. Our animals are truly rescues and do not come with a guarantee as a breeder could provide so we do everything we possibly can to ensure the very best start to their new journey.
