Dara Domestic Short Hair Smithfield, NC

Dara was born in July 2023, the kitten of a community cat. She gets along well with other cats after an introductory period, and she loves to play with her foster brother Lykoi. She has been around her foster mom's dog for most of her life, and she does not mind him at all; however, she does not like dogs that are pushy or "in her face", and she will stand up for herself. She is vocal and likes to express her opinion! She's a strong, independent girl, but she likes to crawl under the covers and cuddle. She loves canned food! She knows her name and knows what "Dara, no" means. She will thrive in a home that will respect her space when she's being independent but will recognize when she is being affectionate and give her the requested attention.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
