DAHLIA's Story

DAHLIA is a 3 month old female TORTIE DOMESTIC MEDIUM HAIR. She is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative.

She really enjoys a cat tree to bird watch. She also enjoys laying in baskets and cat tents. Wand toys are her favorite. She takes a bit to warm up, but once she knows her surroundings she is a very big lovebug. She can be found wrestling her siblings most of the time.

She uses the litter box very well and does well for nail trims. She eats both dry and wet food and comes running for his wet food.

Dahlia likes other cats and plays very nicely. She will take a bit to warm up to a dog and will require a dog who will ignore her and is not looking for a playmate. Dahlia does well with children as well that understand cat boundaries and would recommend school age children.

Please note that she will also need to go to a home with a sibling if there are no other young cats or kittens already in the home.

Fostered in Louisville, TN. Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
