Cutie Boy Domestic Long Hair Mokena, IL

Please meet 4-year-old Cutie Boy! He made the long trip to NAWS from a high kill shelter in Kansas. He was a bit overwhelmed at first coming into our busy rescue setting and preferred to hide under his blankets. We are happy to report that Cutie Boy is feeling more confident and quickly coming out of his shell - we are now seeing what an amazing cat he is! First, he is extremely handsome with his longer-haired coat and stunning eyes. Next, he is gentle and really starting to enjoy attention and visitors. He likes pets and gives kisses and affectionate head bumps to show his appreciation. Cutie Boy is showing his curious nature - he is now always at the front of his kitty condo watching all the activity, much different than the shy kitty he was when he first arrived.

Cutie Boy would love to find a patient adopter. He will likely need some time to adjust to a new environment. His confidence is growing every day before our eyes, and ideally, he needs someone who will work with him to keep building it. Underneath his initially timid personality, there is a wonderful cat ready to come out. Life in a home is just what he needs!
