Meet Curtis & Marshall (Bonded Pair, FIV+) **Reduced Adoption Fee!**

Curtis and Marshall are 8-month-old sweet and energetic brothers. They love to lay in the cat tree that is in front of a window and in the sun. They can be very shy at first and will hide until nighttime when they come out to play and explore. They will warm up and become braver during the day, and eventually become very cuddly. Curtis enjoys laser pointers and puzzle toys that give treats as rewards. Marshall enjoys catnip toys and cuddling with his foster mom. Both kitties love chasing each other and do so during the night and day.

Curtis is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life alongside his brother. Cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans, and because FIV is only transmitted through very deep bite wounds, the best way to prevent transmission is simply to provide an environment in which resident cats do not fight with each other. You can read more about FIV here: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv

These sweet boys currently live with 2 humans—a foster mom and a 13-year-old boy—as well as a very senior shih tzu. Both Curtis and Marshall like the small dog and wish he would play tag with them. Both kitties love chasing each other and do so at night sometimes. They would do best in a home where they had room to play at night, and the sleeping humans could close a door and be separate from that. They would do well in a home with humans who would like to play with them a lot because they have a lot of energy. They will want a cat tree and they love to be up high. Curtis will scratch his cat tree and Marshall prefers to use the cardboard scratchers. They have both learned the word no and quickly learned to stay off counters with only a few reminders; they really are very good boys.

These adorable cats are a joy to live with. Their foster family loves to watch them play and snuggle each other. They are ready for a forever home that will love them as much as their foster family does.
