CUE BALL's Story

Meet Cue Ball, the aptly named black and white cat. Cue Ball came into the Shelter a little nervous but after some time, has been warming up to staff and volunteers. Once he is comfortable, he starts purring and headbutting hands. Cue Ball is looking for a savvy, patient adopter to let him warm up in his adoptive home. In his very first home, he lived with other cats but has not interacted with any recently. Cue Ball has been indoors only so he should have a similar set up in the next home. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
