Crooks is a beautiful domestic long hair calico with a curious spirit and a soft spot for attention. She loves to explore her surroundings, investigate every nook and cranny, and keep an eye on what's happening around her. Once she's finished her adventures, she's more than happy to settle in for some quality time with her favorite people.<br/><br/>This lovely girl would prefer to be your one and only pet so she can soak up all the attention for herself. One of her favorite things is having her face gently petted, and she'll gladly lean in for extra scratches and affection. Crooks is front paw declawed and takes daily medication to help manage the discomfort associated with her declaw. Because of this, she will need an adopter who can continue her medication routine and provide her with a comfortable indoor home.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a cat with both an adventurous side and a sweet, affectionate personality, Crooks may be the perfect addition to your family.<br/><br/>Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! <br/><br/>Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.<br/><br/>Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
