Meet Cricket
Hi, my name is Cricket! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: A little shy at first, but very affectionate, gentle, and loving
-Can Live with Cats: Possibly with an older, mellow cat. Will need a slow, supervised intro.
-Can Live with Dogs: No. Cricket lived with dogs in her previous home and was very stressed by them. She will need a dog-free home.
-Can Live with Kids: This senior lady is not interested in the ruckus that comes along with small children. She'd love an adult only home, or at least one with older, respectful, cat-savvy kids/teens. At this time we're recommending no kids under 14, pending an introduction at the shelter.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Yes
-History of Litter Box Issues: Yes. Cricket was surrendered for spraying in the house. However she was under a lot of stress with two large dogs in the home that she hid from. Living in a low-key, dog-free home will likely resolve these issues. She is using her litter box here at the shelter.
-Energy Level: Low
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
Additional Information: Cricket initially seems like a very shy kitty, but she is just fooling you! After she has a few minutes to warm up and she realizes she can trust you, she will purr her head off. Cricket is a sweet, snuggly senior lady that is overflowing with love. She loves attention and will press her forehead into you all day long for pets. Cricket would be a great match for a retired person/couple looking for a mellow cuddle buddy to spend their days with. If you'd like to meet Cricket, please visit the front desk to fill out an adoption application.
