Meet Crater
Crater and her two sisters were brought to us at a few hours old with severe tissue damage from a maggot infestation. Yep, you read that right. They defeated ALL odds and healed miraculously well, but Crater has some scarring on her bottom that presents itself in a couple of ways. Overall, she is hardly different from any other cat but she does have a few special care requirements.
?? Personality:
Despite facing such massive challenges, Crater is a remarkably affectionate and snuggly kitten. Her favorite activities include curling up in your lap for a cozy nap, giving numerous kisses (yes - kisses!), and making sure you know she is nearby and craving attention. She's a master at turning any day into a brighter one with her purrs and cuddles.
? Special Care:
Crater requires regular baths due to her unique situation; usually once or twice a week. Don't let this deter you; she has learned to enjoy bath time and appreciates the care and attention she receives during this ritual! Her resilience and positive attitude shine through, making bath time a bonding experience. She purrs the entire time and even plays with toys. Her baths only take 10 minutes or so, and we are working on liking the hair dryer now!
? Ideal Home:
Crater would thrive in a loving and patient home where her adopters understand her situation and the importance of her special care routine. She can be a bit shy at first but once she warms up, she's a true social butterfly with known and new folks alike. She would do just fine with kiddos who are gentle. Crater will benefit from having a young playful playmate and gets along well with other cats after some introductions.
Crater is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, ready to embark on a new chapter of her life filled with love and many, many kisses.
