Cowboy loves human attention and has the confidence of ten cats. He’s just as affectionate as he is social. He adores cuddles and snuggles. He’s managed to stand out among his foster family’s resident cats and dog, asserting himself almost completely into his new foster environment. <br/><br/>He loves to run, play, and is very curious. Despite his curiosity, he hasn’t managed to cause too much trouble and seems to be the perfect combination of playful and sweet. He has beautiful greenish yellow eyes framed by light colored markings, making him stand out and giving him the ability to immediately win your heart. <br/><br/>He takes care of his gentler sister Roo and loves to snuggle and clean her. He likes to be in your world and not separated, choosing to sit back and observe, run and play, or rest by your side. He will sleep with you but is also very independent and confident with the ability to play on his own, when provided with toys and his own safe places. Similar to the duality of his confident yet cuddly demeanor, he has a sweet delicate face but giant paws. He’s really the perfect combination of affectionate and independent.<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in San Pedro. Meet & greets / pickup will be coordinated upon approved application & homecheck video. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. <br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
