Coco Puff's Story
Meet Coco Puff: A Little Ball of Floof with Main Character Energy

Some kittens are born into the spotlight. Coco Puff was born under a wooden pallet.

She and her siblings were discovered tucked safely between the slats of a pallet behind a government housing apartment in Statesville. At only three weeks old, they were tiny enough to fit in one hand and much too young to survive on their own after their feral mama was trapped.

The foster immediately prepared herself for the glamorous life of a neonatal kitten caregiver: bottles every few hours, sleepless nights, and constantly smelling like kitten formula and kitten yuckiness. Then the universe delivered the greatest plot twist of all. As it turned out, she had also trapped the kittens' incredibly friendly grandmother. Grandma took one look at those babies and essentially said, "You've done enough, dear. I'll take it from here."
She promptly adopted the entire litter, became their full-time wet nurse, and raised them like the seasoned professional she clearly was. The babies thrived, Grandma earned Employee of the Month, and the foster happily retired from the overnight feeding shift.

Those first few days of bottle feeding left Coco Puff with an extra-soft spot for humans. She's the kind of kitten who thinks people are wonderful inventions, created specifically for cuddling, playing, and providing snacks on demand.
And can we talk about this coat? Coco Puff is a little puff of silky midnight fluff with bright, curious eyes and enough floof to make your vacuum cleaner slightly nervous. She kind of resembles a baby gorilla with a tail.
Coco Puff is playful, affectionate, endlessly entertaining, and shes been fully vetted and is ready for her forever home. She has been:
- Spayed
- Vaccinated
- Treated for fleas and intestinal parasites
- Combo tested negative for FeLV & FIV

One thing is important to us—and to Coco Puff: She needs another kitten or young playful cat in her new home. She's never known life without feline friends to wrestle, groom, cuddle, and share her daily zoomies with. We'd love for her to continue growing up with a buddy, specifically, her sister Nadia whom she loves because kittens really do thrive with a playmate (and they'll keep each other entertained while you're busy).

If your home could use a little extra laughter, a little extra love, and a whole lot of fabulous black floof, Coco Puff is ready to move in.
