AND SHE DEMANDS ENTRY. <br/><br/>Meet Cleocatra, a petite little torbie with a BIG personality-and an increasingly urgent opinion about where she belongs.<br/><br/>Spoiler alert:<br/><br/>She has decided she belongs INSIDE. <br/><br/>Cleocatra was originally trapped in late June as a friendly stray and TNR'd. After she was released, though, she didn't go far. Instead, she stuck around the yard of the people who had helped her, and over the past couple of months, something became very clear:<br/><br/>This girl desperately wants to be someone's cat. <br/><br/>She parks herself outside one of the home's three glass doors, patiently-or not so patiently-waiting for someone to let her in. She nests behind a planter. She rubs against her humans. She gives head bumps. She rolls around on the warm grass and pavers. She makes biscuits. She PURRS.<br/><br/>And when she's really happy?<br/><br/>The muffins come out. <br/><br/>Cleocatra used her litter box like a pro during her five-day recovery after TNR, so she has already demonstrated that she knows exactly what that box is for. <br/><br/>She's also food- and treat-motivated, enjoys playing with feather toys and can be called with a simple tongue click. Her humans can even pick her up and place her in a kennel or carrier when needed.<br/><br/>Basically, this former street girl is saying:<br/><br/>"Thank you for helping me. Now where is my couch?" <br/><br/>Cleocatra has shown interest in another cat, but because of limited opportunities to interact with other animals, we're still getting to know how she feels about feline roommates. She would do best with an experienced adopter who understands that young former street cats can be energetic, curious and occasionally need some time to adjust to the indoor life.<br/><br/>But here's the thing:<br/><br/>She is already doing SO much of the work.<br/><br/>She isn't hiding from people.<br/><br/>She isn't running away.<br/><br/>She's standing at the glass door ASKING TO COME IN. <br/><br/>Cleocatra is young. She's healthy. She's affectionate. She's playful.
