Cleo's Story
Foster Note: Cleo is doing well--slow progress. Was she feral? She doesn't like to come out of her lair until night. She sniffs treats that I give her, and we have good play sessions with her feather wand every night. She tracks the toy in her box and tries to get it. I do not push her bc she has a low fear threshold and can be reactive. I still use the backscratcher and grabbers to do any touching or moving objects near her.

Her big progress the last 2 days is sleeping in her bed instead of hiding under it! She plays in the bathroom nightly and unrolled the tp to slept on it the other nightSo I know there's a playful kitty inside those hissypants!

I will need to bring her back to the shelter next week bc I'm traveling. I hate doing that to her. But it seems safer for her and for my pet sitter. I'll definitely check when I get back to see if she needs a foster again.
