Chrysanthemum's Story
Chrysanthemum (about 12 weeks old as of 7/31/2026) is a female brown tabby short haired kitten. Chrysanthemum was born in a Waukegan feral cat colony and trapped along with her sisters and mom when she was about 2 weeks old. From when her eyes were barely opened she was raised in a loving foster home with two children doting on her, so she's grown up much friendlier than her docile but terrified mom. "Chrys-Ann" as we like to call her for short may be little but she is the most adventurous of her litter. She likes to be pet and held but is always on the lookout for her next adventure; if she starts scrambling it might be best to just play with her more until she tires out! She gets along great with other cats and would definitely need a young kitty playmate to help keep her occupied. She's very used to kids and although she hasn't lived with dogs we think she's had enough excitement and chaos in her upbringing that she would learn to love most cat-friendly dogs.

Chrysanthemum will be spayed August 11th and ready to go to her new home soon after! Come and meet her at our public adoption event most Saturdays 11-2 at the Pet Supplies Plus store in Waukegan!
