Who is ready to fall in love! This boy can make it happen. He is so sweet and affectionate and - Oh! So soft! CHINO is listed as a seven month old male tabby. He was surrendered to the shelter in early January just a couple of days after two female cats that were also surrendered by their owner. They were part of a group of cats that had either been dumped on the property or had ended up there as the result of the pregnant cat that was dumped there in the past. CHINO was neutered and received a rabies vaccine on Monday, February 12 thanks to a partnership between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter. As a result, he can go home the same day that he is adopted! Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staffed can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking an adult size cat carrier with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt this beautiful fellow. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
