Meet Chessie
Chessie came to Good Mews when her previous rescue shut down. She spent a few weeks in a foster home where she established herself as top cat right away. Chessie is a great cat with a strong personality. She is very friendly and confident in new situations. She likes to give head butts and receive kisses. She's not crazy about being picked up (support her back legs!) but she does like being held. She loves to play with wand toys and get very excited when she can take one away from you and run away with it. She's got a great purr and is a champion maker of biscuits. She does, however, want to be the queen cat in the house. She doesn't start fights but does hiss and growl to let other cats know she is the boss.
