Chessie Tabby & Dilute Calico Mix Clarksville, VA

Chessie is a cute petite gray kitty with lovely gold eyes and white on her chest and back feet. She is about 1.5 years old as of 11/1/23, spayed, FiV/FeLV tested and vaccinated. This darling young cat is mild mannered, quiet and enjoys company, but also fine without a lot of attention and fuss. She gets along great with other cats and is very adaptable.

Chessie was born spring of 2022 and then abandoned in June, 2022 with littermates and mom at dumpsters behind a store. A Good Samaritan fed them all for a year while catching, vetting and finding placements. Unfortunately, by the time it was Chessie's turn to get off the streets, she was pregnant herself. She went to LCSPCA on 3/30/23 and had her babies 4/14/23. All of her kittens have since found homes.

This poor girl was born to an owner who threw her and her littermates and mom out like garbage. Then she had to live at a dumpster with no shelter, avoiding dogs and coyotes for a year, only to end up giving birth to her own litter in a shelter. Chessie deserves a loving home at this point!
