Meet Chaucer
Chaucer is a large, 13-year-old male Maine Coon mix in need of a new home because his person moved and could not take him with her. He has been in a foster home since late January. It took him a couple of weeks to adjust as he seemed confused about his sudden move, but he is now quite comfortable there.
Chaucer is intelligent, friendly, and outgoing with humans, but also very strong and playful so his new person will have to be able to handle his size and activity level. He sometimes likes to wake his foster up by pouncing on her in bed, sitting on her while he takes a bath. He also follows her from room to room. Chaucer gets very excited when his litter box is being cleaned and gets the zoomies!
Chaucer is definitely an alpha cat and would probably not do well with other animals.
