Charlie (and Pearl)'s Story
Hi. We're Charlie and Pearl, and we come as a set. Non-negotiable. But honestly? You're getting a great deal.

We were born in May 2024 into a home that had plenty of love but not quite enough of everything else. We're grateful for what we had, and even more grateful for the people who gave us a second chance. We've been together through all of it — the uncertainty, the transition, the slow and steady work of learning to feel safe — and we've come out the other side still choosing each other every single day.

I'm Charlie. I'm the quiet one. I like routines, cozy corners, and knowing who's in the room. I take my time with new people — not because I don't want to know you, but because trust means something to me. When I do warm up, though, I'm all in. I'm friendly with everyone, and the other cats seem to sense something in me, because they have a habit of finding me when it's nap time. I take that as a compliment. Pearl is my person. Having her near makes everything feel okay.

I'm Pearl. I'm the curious one — and, fine, maybe a little bossy. I've grown braver every day in foster care. I explore, I play, I chase my brother around and occasionally remind the other cats how things should be done. I love a sunny window, a cozy nap spot, and a good game of chase. I was shy with people once, but Charlie being calm helps me be calm too. That's what he does for me. He's always been my safe place.

Together, we follow our people around the house, keep tabs on what's happening, and generally make ourselves useful. Charlie will accept pets graciously. Pearl is still warming up to that part, but she's thinking about it.

We're looking for a quiet, adult-only home with people who understand that good things take time — and that we are absolutely worth it. Cat-savvy humans who'll let us settle in at our own pace would make us very happy.

We've already done the hard part of our story. We're ready for the part where everything gets soft and warm and permanent.

We'd really like that to be with you.

— Charlie & Pearl

--
Charlie and Pearl have tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Charlie has been neutered and Pearl has been spayed. Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals. Our adoption fee is $300 per cat.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Charlie and Pearl, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.

**Please note that the adoption fee for this bonded pair is $600 (each cat has an adoption fee of $300).

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application
