Charlie's Story
Meet Charlie!

Charlie is a sweet, gentle orange gentleman with a calm, easygoing personality and a heart full of love. Unlike the stereotypical high-energy orange cat, Charlie prefers a quieter pace of life. He's happiest curled up beside you on the couch, soaking up pets and cuddles while purring contentedly. Pick him up, and he'll immediately let you know how much he appreciates the attention.

Charlie is a world-class biscuit maker, and baking muffins is one of his favorite pastimes. He also enjoys his meals, uses his litter box perfectly, and is simply wonderful company to have around the house.

A piece of Charlie's ear is missing from an old injury during his time outdoors, but it only adds to his charm. He also has a previous hind leg ligament injury that occasionally gives him a slight sway when he walks. Despite this, he has no mobility issues and easily handles stairs, climbing, and jumping when he chooses.

Charlie has been fostered in a home with other cats, dogs, and a young child. He coexisted peacefully with the resident pets and showed no fear or aggression around them. Because he's a bit timid and prefers a calm environment, slow introductions to new animals are recommended. He would likely do well as either an only pet or with a friendly, respectful companion. While he doesn't require another animal friend, he can happily share his home with other pets given time to adjust.

Charlie has also been wonderful with children. In his foster home, he happily accepted pets and affection from a gentle 3-year-old child, never hissing or swatting and always remaining the sweet, patient boy he is. His foster humans love him so much that they have sponsored his adoption fee.

Overall, Charlie is a quiet, affectionate cat who thrives on companionship, comfort, and a peaceful home. If you're looking for a loyal couch buddy, expert biscuit baker, and all-around perfect gentleman, Charlie may be the cat you've been waiting for.

DOB: 10/3/2016

Ready to make Charlie part of your family forever?
