Meet Charlie
Charlie has severe arthritis (joint changes in his elbows and knees), and you'll notice that he walks with bowed elbows. He takes some meds to help him with the discomfort in his joints. His arthritis does not prevent him from getting around or climbing to the top of things, but making simple accommodations for him in the home like providing easy access to multiple litter boxes will benefit him. Charlie also has renal disease, meaning his kidneys are not working the way that they should. We have been maintaining his kidneys with an assortment of treatments, including fluids under the skin daily. None of the treatments seem to bother him much. Charlie's adopters will need to have an established relationship with a veterinarian, and a veterinarian check will be required. Our Medical Manager would be happy to discuss his health condition with you. Just ask the Adoption Team to put you in contact with her.
We know there are many orange cat fans out there who would love to make Charlie's acquaintance. If you are one of them, please complete an online adoption application and come meet this love in Room 4.
