Meet Chandler and Bing (FIV+) (bonded pair)

Chandler (orange longhair) and Bing (black shorthair, FIV+) are two sweet neutered young male cats looking for their forever home! These kitties are playful, friendly, curious, and social! They will follow you from room to room to keep an eye on you and they love to be involved in any activity.

Chandler is a handsome boy with a silky-soft orange longhair coat. His favorite activity is cuddling and he is happiest taking a nap with you or helping with work by sitting on your lap. He loves to play with his mouse toys and especially enjoys chasing them up and down the halls. Chandler is also quite generous in giving out “love bites.” He’ll gently chomp on your fingers to express his need for attention or to show his affection for you. If he ever nibbles a bit too hard, a firm “no” is sufficient for him to back off.

Chandler is quite shy at first and does best in a small, safe, quiet space while he acclimates to his new home. A low-noise, low-stress environment is best while he is transitioning to his new space. Once he’s comfortable though, he has no problem announcing his need for cuddles with a loud meow. When he’s snuggled up sufficiently close to you—his favorite spot is right on your chest or under the covers with you—he’ll let you know with his freight train purr.

Bing is our resident goofball. He loves to show off his agility—or lack thereof—chasing around string toys and pouncing on his friend Chandler. He’s a bit on the chunky side and we have been working to get his weight down. He absolutely adores being scratched at the base of his tail and will throw his whole weight into it. He is always quick to greet you at the end of the day with a loud “chirp” and shake of the head.

Bing is certainly the outgoing one of the two. He is always the first to investigate new toys, new scratching posts, or to test how fun your shoelaces are to play with. He is also quite cuddly, but where Chandler doesn’t mind if you pick him up to cuddle, Bing prefers to come to you. He is also our resident biscuit-maker—we have never seen him lay down on the couch or the bed without first vetting the spot for biscuit-making. Bing’s happy place is a warm spot in the sun, perched up high to watch the activity, or curled up in your lap at the beginning or end of the day.

These two sweet boys are best friends! They love to play, wrestle, cuddle, and groom one another. We often find them perched on windowsills bird-watching together. They are not jealous of one another when it comes to food or attention. Both are learning the word “no” when it comes to food manners, chomping on plants (Chandler), and staying off of kitchen counters. Both boys are great with new people—they both show curiosity toward guests and warm up very quickly to new people. Although Bing is FIV+, both boys are otherwise extremely healthy—they eat their wet and dry food without issue and stay hydrated by drinking a substantial amount of water. We have not observed any digestive issues, nor has either had any issue when it comes to appropriate litter box use.

These boys have been an absolute joy to us and we look forward to sending them to their forever home! Could that be with you?
