Meet Celeste: From the Trailer Park to Your Penthouse (or Couch)
If you're looking for a rags-to-riches story with a very fluffy ending, meet Celeste. This girl has officially retired from her "outdoor survivalist" lifestyle in the trailer park and is ready to transition into her true calling: Professional Indoor Sweetheart.

The Celeste Executive Summary:
The "Easy Button" of Cats: Super easy to care for and incredibly chill. She is not here to reinvent the wheel; she is just here to be a very, very good girl.

Celeste wants you to know "I might be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a little time and patience, and you'll discover the sweetest little lovebug hiding inside. I might come see you, who knows! Once I feel safe and get to know you, my affectionate side starts to shine, and I'll be ready to show you just how special I am! I may need a little extra time to warm up, but I promise I'm worth the wait. My heart just takes a moment to open, and when it does, there's lots of love to share"

Because she does not know strangers, she doesn't "show n tell well". You have to have faith in something you can not see, only feel.

Have you filled out adoption applications, and no one has got back to you? Come visit the kitty hotel filled with six rooms over two spacious floors of super cute free roaming & friendly furballs of all ages, color and personality! Our outdoor cat e o is located on 2nd floor.

If you are interested in meeting any of the cats, please email SOS at saveourstrays.pgh@gmail.com or call/text (best option) Faon @ (412) 863-0064 to arrange your visit. We will get back to you very promptly. The majority of our cats are in one place. Myself and the volunteers spend a lot of time with the cats so we know their personalities extremely well.

Do you happen to be looking for a Real Estate agent, one of our main volunteers works for Berkshire Hathaway. Chelsea donates 10% of her commission back to the rescue, if we help get her a listing. Check our Facebook Save Our Strays if you forget and later want her phone number. She is the "PURFECT Relator" Chelsea Dungan @ 412-297-1606. Help save cats while buying or selling a home.

Since 2020, SOS has rescued and adopted more than 1,500 stray cats in the Pittsburgh area. Included in our $150 (going rate/full vetting is expensive) 1adoption fee is full vetting. It will cost you more money to have everything we have already completed for them done. Adopting from us supports S.O.S and our mission to save cats from neglect, abandonment, hoarding or friendly strays stuck living outside.

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, have received Capstar for any flea issues and NEXGUARD COMBO for any parasites, received two FVRCP vaccines as well as their rabies vaccine, are treated for ear mites (if needed), are combo tested for FeLV and FIV(beware large shelters no longer test) and are microchipped which will transfer to you.

SOS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our adoption fee, along with donations, allow us to tend to our rescued cats in the manner in which they deserve: fully vetted and fully cared for. We also allocate funds to continue TNR (trap, neuter, and release) efforts for all of the strays who are too unsocialized and human-adverse for an indoor home. By spaying/neutering, these
cats live a healthier life and no longer contribute to increasing the stray cat population.

When you adopt a cat from SOS, you're doing more than giving a cat a good home. You're also helping those stray cats who cannot be homed. One cats adoption improves multiple cats' lives.

Email SOS at saveourstrays.pgh@gmail.com or call/text Faon @ (412) 863-0064 to arrange your visit.
