Cassa Roll 55828's Story
Did you know Spring National Adoption Week is almost here?
And one glamorous survivor is ready to leave her street days far behind.

Meet Cassa.

If there were a feline fashion runway, Cassa would absolutely steal the show. With her luxurious long fluffy coat and graceful presence, she looks like she could glide down the catwalk and leave the crowd speechless. But behind all that beauty is a story of resilience.

Cassa didn't belong out there.

She was trapped by a kind community member during a TNR effort, and it quickly became clear she was struggling to survive in the colony. The other cats were bullying and beating her up, and she simply couldn't compete on the streets.

But the moment she was safe, everything changed.

Instead of a feral fighter, we discovered a gentle, affectionate ball of fluff who melted into soft beds and leaned into kind hands. She acted like a cat who had once known love. And we soon realized something else. Cassa was already spayed, which means she likely had a home at some point in her life. Somewhere along the way, this beautiful girl was left behind.

She also had a mouth full of rotten, broken teeth that had been causing her incredible pain. Thanks to Saved by Zade, Cassa received the medical care she desperately needed. Those painful teeth are gone, she's feeling so much better, and she's finally ready for her second chance.

Cassa would do best in a calmer home. She isn't a big fan of children, and while she can tolerate other cats, she would need very slow introductions and a patient household.

What she really wants is simple:
A safe home.
A cozy bed.
A person who will never leave her behind again.

This stunning girl has survived more than most cats ever should. Now it's time for Cassa to live the life she was always meant to have.

You can meet Cassa during Spring National Adoption Week.

Spring National Adoption Week Adoption Hours
Thursday 3/27/26: 4pm-8pm
Friday 3/28/26: 10am-8pm
Saturday 3/28/26: 10am-8pm
Sunday 3/29/26: 11am-2pm

Locations:
PetSmart Okemos
5135 Times Square Dr.
Okemos, MI 48864

PetSmart Lansing
305 N.
