Meet Carrot

Carrot is a 3-month-old rare female, orange tabby tuxedo looking for her purrfect home!

Miss Carrot is a total lounging love bug that will have you smiling just at the sight of her cute face! She has 2 sisters, Pumpkin and Mango, just in case your home is looking for 3 to complete the family! Otherwise, Carrot requires a kitty sibling to relax with, follow around, and play with!

Carrot loves finding a good sunbeam and napping, little leggies and paws up in the air in a display of pure relaxation. If you wake her up, she will look at you with the funniest face of half-asleep bliss and confusion ha. After a good nap, she loves to purr up a storm, and chase wand toys round and round!

She’s met other kitties and does well with proper introductions, and would do okay with a chill, respectful dog, but young children may be a bit much for her calm and laidback demeanor. Carrot doesn’t mind being picked up and given kisses, and loves making thorough biscuits in a soft bed or blanket. Churu sticks and treats are super awesome too! Initially shy when first in care, she’s really come out of her shell and her little personality continues to grow every day. Her forever home will get the benefit of really watching her blossom!

Carrot and her siblings tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a feline-only virus that does not affect their quality of life or lifespan. But because they are so young, it is likely that they have FIV antibodies from their mother and will likely test negative for it at six months of age. However, if they do retain the virus, they can still live with other cats that aren’t infected with the virus. Here is more information on kittens with FIV https://www.kittenlady.org/fiv

There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
