Carey Grant's Story
***Sharonville Location ***

Carey is a year old now and fully grown but still acts like a goofy kitten. He’s quickly becoming a favorite at the shelter for his quirky antics and playfulness, both with volunteers as well as other cats. He is a favorite subject for photos as well.

Carey was found as a single kitten with no mother or siblings. He was placed in a foster home where he could be socialized, so he’s a little overwhelmed in the shelter environment where there is much more stimuli. It may take him some time to decompress in a new home, getting used to new sounds, scents, and routines. He likes the company of the other cats in his free range room but it took two weeks for him to be fully comfortable with his roommates. He does not care for the shelter dog who roams the back hallway but may be okay with older/slower dogs who don’t invade his space.

Please consider making an appointment to meet this beautiful boy to see if he’d be the right fit for your home.

FIV/FeLV negative

*Must be 21 or older to adopt
**Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter.
