Buttercup is a confident, super playful cat! He is accustomed to living with other felines, and would benefit from a companion that wants to match his playstyle. Buttercup often seeks out attention from his caregivers and greatly enjoys being in view of his family. He enjoys attention and pets, especially around his face and chip (his belly is off-limits!), but doesn’t appear to be a lap cat. Buttercup LOVES to play – whether with a laser pointer, wand toy, catnip stuffie, or ping pong ball, he loves it all. He enjoys watching nature and sniffing fresh air through a screen door or window, but needs to be monitored to make sure he doesn’t get too excited and begin climbing the mesh. He can be chatty at times and chitters while bird watching, or meowing when left alone. All in all, he’s a wonderful cat with a big personality that will make a great addition to his new home.
