Bun aka Trigger

Wouldn't you love to wake up to this smiling face everyday?. Bun (aka Trigger) was a hot MESS when we pulled him from the shelter in February! Bloody right ear and head, squinty eyes, missing all but 3 teeth, not yet neutered. But he was the SWEETEST boy and I just couldn't pass him up. Fast forward to now (and a few surgeries later: neuter, polypectomy for a nasty ear polyp, dental to remove remaining teeth, and entropion eyelid correction) and we've got a playful, happy, wanna sleep with you boy. As if the above ailments weren't enough, he is also FIV+ and asthmatic Having no teeth, the FIV is no big deal, and he's adjusted well to using his aerocat inhaler! What a champ! He's also learning to walk on a leash for outdoor jaunts and would love another kitty pal for company. This boy is truly special in EVERY way, but we adore him and you will, too! Bun is a young cat at 3-5 yrs old and is available to meet in his extra special foster home in Charlottesville where he has been spoiled rotten and loved! Will you be his hero? If you do not yet have a vet, please provide three personal references – these could be family and friends who can attest to your pet parenting skills.<br/> A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match. <br/> The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about their likes, dislikes, and little quirks. <br/> The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you're ready to take the feline home as your furry forever friend, their adoption fee is $150.
