Buckwheat was found as a stray in heartbreaking condition, suffering from painful entropion (a condition where the eyelids roll inward, causing the eyelashes to rub against the eyes). He underwent corrective surgery on both eyes and has made an incredible recovery. Now he's ready to leave his difficult past behind and find the loving family he has always deserved.<br/><br/>Buckwheat is one of those cats who truly loves being around people. He is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and social. He can be a little clingy at timesbut only because he adores his humans and wants to be part of everything you're doing. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or moving around the house, Buckwheat will happily keep you company.<br/><br/>He has a medium energy level and enjoys interactive play with a variety of cat toys.
