Brett ~ Female ~ Mackerel Tabby ~ Estimated DOB: 8/15/2019 (Approx: 1 year old as of 8/15/2020)

Brett is a girl who deserves a happy ever after to her tale. She came into our rescue back in September of 2019. She had been found abandoned in a box (with no air-holes) along with her mother and siblings. She was cared for by our fosters and placed in a home with an adopter that had a small dog. It was told to us that Brett lived in fear of the dog and she spent most of her time under a bed and became less socialized as time went on. Our fosters gladly took her back and started working with her again. When she came back to the rescue she acted like the floor was made of lava and never wanted to leave the fosters lap. With lots of love and patience (but still loving to sit on a safe lap) Brett is now back onto the floor and playing, especially with her beloved fabric teaser toy. This girl deserves a home where she can be loved and cared for by someone who will understand her and work with her so she can continue to feel secure and protected. Obviously – no dogs please.

Our adoptions run as follows: We are a rescue group which means all of our cats/kittens are technically in foster care. We are not set up for drop in visits. All of our contact is done through e-mails until you are called by David who is the gentleman that reviews all of our applicants. Dave is the one with all of the background information and will be more than happy to review everything with you at that time. Please note that our foster couple only have cats and kittens in their home. We have no way of knowing what the reaction would be with our foster animals meeting your children or pets. As with all new introductions, it would take time and effort on your part to introduce them slowly and give them their own space when needed.

Once we receive your application, and a background check is completed, a meeting with the pet of your choice will be scheduled. Our adoption fee is $150 per pet. Everyone will be fully vetted, FIV/FeLV combo tested, current on all shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered before heading off to their new home.

Dave and Sue have many applications that they review every day (on top of care for all the fosters cats and kittens) and the process can take time. Please be patient with us.
