Meet Brenda B

Meet Brenda. Brenda is a special kitty: she was born with only one good eye. The other never developed fully and was only causing problems for her. When she was found her underdeveloped eye was badly infected and she was emaciated. After a course of antibiotics and some weight gain Brenda underwent surgery to remove her bad eye. Physically she recovered completely from her surgery but whatever happened to her while living on the street has left invisible marks on her. She is as sweet as can be: she will come to sniff your hand, may even lick it but she doesn't like to be touched. Occasionally I can sneak in a few strokes of her tail but it is rare. Otherwise, she is just like any of my other fosters: she loves to sit in the window and watch the birds, she gets the zoomies and runs around the apartment chasing whatever she can find and she makes the cutes sounds, like chirps.
