Braddock's Story

Braddock – A Fluffy Little Gentleman with a Playful Side

Quick Facts
Age: 14 weeks old
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Longhair Siamese mix
Vaccinations: Up to date
Neutered/Spayed: Will be completed when age appropriate
FeLV & FIV: Negative
Microchipped: Yes
Litter Trained: Yes
Good With: Cats, dogs, and respectful children

Braddock is a 14-week-old Siamese mix kitten who is equal parts soft, sweet, and endlessly entertaining.

This handsome little guy came to us from the shelter with his brother, Bancroft, and the two have been absolutely thriving in foster care. At around 3 pounds, Braddock may still be tiny, but he has already mastered the art of being adorable in every possible situation.

When Braddock and Bancroft are awake, they are almost always together — wrestling, roughhousing, chasing each other around, and generally causing the kind of adorable chaos that only kittens can create. They are full of energy and curiosity, and watching them play is a full-time source of joy. But when it is time to recharge, Braddock has his own favorite napping spots and is perfectly happy to curl up in his chosen cozy corner for a little peace and quiet.

Of the two brothers, Braddock is the quieter one. He is not as vocal as his sibling, but that calm little personality is part of what makes him so charming. He is observant, affectionate, and happy to be part of the fun without needing to narrate every moment of it.

Like any good kitten, Braddock loves playtime, cuddles, and exploring. He is also a bit of a foodie with refined tastes — he and his brother are true wet food connoisseurs and have made it very clear that dry food is not on their list of preferred dining options.

Braddock would do wonderfully in a home that is ready for all the fun, affection, and entertainment that comes with kittenhood. Whether he is tumbling around with his brother, stretching out in a fluffy nap, or quietly taking in the world around him, he brings sweetness and personality everywhere he goes.

If You’re Thinking About Adopting Me, I Think You Should Know

I may be the quieter brother, but I still know how to have a great time. I love to play, wrestle, and zoom around with my brother, and when I’m done, I’m very happy to find a cozy little spot to nap. I’m sweet, fluffy, and full of kitten charm. I also have very strong opinions about food — specifically that wet food is clearly the superior choice. If you’re looking for a playful, lovable little guy with a soft heart and an even softer coat, I might be your perfect match.

Important Adoption Information and Next Steps:

All animals adopted through the Oswego County SPCA (OCAWL) are:

Spayed or neutered

Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations

Microchipped prior to adoption

Cats are FeLV/FIV tested, and dogs are heartworm tested (if age-appropriate).

Our animals are cared for in loving foster homes — they are not housed in a shelter environment.

We review all applications thoroughly to ensure the best match for both animal and adopter.

Our adoption fees help cover the cost of veterinary care, food, and rescue operations so we can continue saving animals throughout Oswego County.

To apply to adopt, please visit www.oswegocountyspca.org
and complete our adoption application.

After Submitting Your Application:
Please make sure you have notified your veterinarian that we will be calling and that it is okay to speak with us. If you do not currently have a vet, please determine which one you will be using and set up care in advance so we can confirm your new pet will receive medical attention when needed.

For Pets Already in the Home:
Because the number of homeless animals in our area is so large, we adopt only to homes where current pets are spayed or neutered, with documented medical exceptions. We also require that all resident pets be up to date on their vaccinations to help ensure that everyone — both new and existing family members — stays healthy and safe.

Keep in Mind:
We are 100 percent foster-based and 100 percent volunteer-operated, from the top down. Our team works hard to get animals into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Please be patient with us — but if you do not hear back within a few days, feel free to message us on our Facebook page to confirm your application went through.
