Meet Blueberry/Greyworm

Meet Blueberry (his foster family calls him Greyworm)! Blueberry/Greyworm was brought to ACCT Philly on or about August 7, 2020, as a stray kitten when he was five (5) weeks old. The shelter staff described as "extremely friendly, sweet, cuddly, easily handleable and tolerant of all treatments." He was diagnosed with a Upper Respiratory Infection (URI), oral ulcers, an eye infection, being underweight, dehydrated & congested but with proper medical treatment and time in foster care he has wonderfully recovered.

Since August 8, 2020, Blueberry/Greyworm has been living in foster care. While in foster care he enjoys spending time with his foster parents, fellow foster kittens, resident cats, & resident dog. His favorite parts of the day are meal time & playing with everyone! Since he loves his meals so much, he gets a bit over excited and usually needs a wipe down after from putting his whole face in the bowl. He really enjoys day dreaming so it’s not uncommon to find him zoning out, probably thinking about his next meal!

Blueberry/Greyworm is getting fluffier by the day and already shedding so interested adopters must be okay with a high shedding kitty. Since he is still a kitten it is hard to determine if he is going to be a long-haired or medium cat, so time will tell. His affection comes on his own terms but when he wants it he’s more than happy to give a lot of snuggles. He’s a happy drooler so his snuggles usually come with some slobber.

Blueberry/Greyworm is up to date on his vaccinations (including rabies), dewormed, received preventative flea treatment, combo/snap tested negative for FIV/FeLv, and microchipped.

If you are interested in learning more about Blueberry/Greyworm you MUST submit an adoption application. We MUST have a fully completed adoption application on file BEFORE contacting anyone, as we will NOT answer adoption inquiries without having an application on file to refer to. Please copy and paste this link in order to submit an adoption application:

Please understand that we are a Volunteer 501 3 c Non-Profit foster based rescue and it may take a few days for someone to contact you. Additionally, we do property checks and MUST have a copy of your lease as well as your landlord's info if you rent. We will do a property check if you state you own your property. This is not to be intrusive but to ensure that the pet you want to adopt is allowed to be in your home. One of the main reasons cats/kittens are surrendered to the shelter is due to "landlord reasons." Thank you so much for your cooperation regarding this matter.
