Blue is a two-year-old Ragdoll mix whose beauty quite literally stops people in their tracks. His soft, luxurious coat and striking eyes make everyone say the same thing when they see him for the first time: wow. Photos don’t do him justice, and meeting him in person feels a little like meeting a celebrity.<br/>His personality is just as lovely. Blue is incredibly sweet, enjoys attention, and seems to fall in love with every new person he meets. He leans into gentle pets, seeks out company, and has a calm, affectionate way of connecting that makes people feel special.<br/>Life with other cats is still a bit of a question mark. He doesn’t seem overly bothered by them here at the shelter, but we don’t know exactly how he will do in a home environment. Slow, thoughtful introductions would give him the best chance of success if there is another cat in the household.<br/>Blue is a stunning, kind-hearted boy who is ready to leave shelter life behind and become someone’s adored companion.<br/><br/>ADOPTION INFORMATION<br/><br/>HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: <br/>1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. <br/>2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. <br/>3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. <br/><br/>Helpful reminders:<br/>*We do not do same day adoptions.<br/>*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. <br/>*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
