Meet Blossom (Foster Home) *Sponsored adoption fee*
"Is there room in your heart for a senior kitty like me? I will sit next to you on the sofa, and sun myself in your windows. At age 14, I am deaf and I have hyperthyroidism, but I would love to be your companion. You can admire my lovely silver fur and yellow eyes, and I will soak up your TLC.
A deaf cat can be an amazing pet. I can compensate by using other senses. I may feel a vibration on the floor or the breeze of a door opening if you enter the room. Just be patient with me. I could probably even live with the right dog or cat, with a proper introduction. Children middle school age and above would be best for me. Just try not startle me out of a deep sleep. (You wouldn’t appreciate that even if you can hear, right?)
A little more about me: I am talkative. I love to nap in the sun. Sometimes I will play with a feather wand. I think baby food is delicious!
I am an “Angel Pet” meaning I have a medical condition and the staff isn't sure how it will impact me long term. That is, my hyperthyroidism has been difficult to control. But I am hoping to find a forever home to live out my time surrounded by love.
I am move-in ready – I am:
-14 years young
-up to date on my vaccines
-spayed
-litterbox-trained
-microchipped
If you are interested in learning more about me and/or are interested in adopting me, please email foster@providenceac.org a completed adoption application (https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf). My paws are crossed I will hear from you soon! ~Blossom
