BINX is very smart and gets along with everybody including adults, other cats and children, according to his previous owner. He and the female cat that came in with him were surrendered because their owner was moving, and the new location would not accept pets. The initial photos were taken right after he arrived and was placed in a silver bank, and before he was officially checked in and given his cat vaccine. He was terrified to find himself at the shelter, and has been hiding in a cat condo, but is finally starting to come around. Poor boy! Because he is already neutered he will be able to go home the same day that he is adopted and his new owner will be required to get him a rabies vaccine. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking an adult cat carrier with you to the appointment in case you do decide to adopt BINX. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
