Big Red's Story

Resides at PURR Cat Cafe. Big Red is a handsome orange boy with a gentle heart and an incredibly sweet disposition. He came to us from a hoarding situation alongside his brother Arnold, and despite everything he has been through, he is an affectionate, trusting guy who genuinely enjoys both people and other cats. True to his name, Big Red is a substantial fellow-but his personality is all soft and sweet. He's mellow, easygoing, and happy to take life as it comes. He gets along beautifully with his feline friends and has a calm, submissive nature that makes him an especially easy companion.

Big Red must be adopted with another cat or go to a home with a friendly cat. Adoption fee is waived for second cat.

PURR-Philadelphia Urgent Rescue and Relief's Adoption Policy
The adoption fee for adult cats is $125, and for kittens it is $150. This helps us cover the vet costs needed to get them in tiptop shape and ready to be adopted. We also strongly recommend that our adopters consider getting two cats, especially if you plan on getting kittens! We've found that having two cats is about the same amount of work as having one cat, but comes with a number of benefits: - It gives your cat a buddy to play and socialize with. This really helps them not get bored and improves their emotional well being - You get twice the cuddles and love We will waive the adoption fee for the second cat if you choose to do this! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at contact@purrphilly.com!
