What is Hisses to Kisses, Inc.’s adoption process?

99% of our cats are adopted into indoor homes only. We will not consider any adopters looking for an indoor-outdoor cat, except in very rare circumstances. Please do not apply if you are considering letting the cat outdoors. Any potential indoor-outdoor cat being adopted out by this agency will be listed as such. All adoption fees are used to sustain the rescue. We spend more on every cat than we receive back, and are funded primarily by adoption fees and donations. The cost of basic care (spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, monthly flea treatment, FeLV and FIV testing, dry and wet food, litter, etc.) often exceeds the adoption fee, and the cost of medicine and diagnostics for illnesses and emergencies often come from donations exclusively.
