Meet Big Mac

This handsome, snuggly boy is Big Mac! As you can tell from his photos/videos, he is a total lovebug. His two favorite things in the world are 1) wet food and 2) affection (both showing it and receiving it!). This ham of a cat came from a poor neighborhood where he was likely fighting with other cats (hence the scars on his ears (he is also ear-tipped on the left ear to indicate he has been fixed)) and flea-ridden. Fortunately, a kind woman reached out to a friend of our rescue's and Big Mac was brought into our care!

Mackey would be most content with somebody who will shower him with attention daily. He has no fear of strangers and is the first to greet them at the door. He has not been tested with dogs.

Mac is FIV+. FIV cats can lead long, healthy lives with few or no symptoms, but we do recommend that he be the only cat in the household, or is homed with another FIV+ cat. There is no treatment for FIV, but it is crucial to minimize his stress level, feed him a healthy diet, and keep him in a clean environment to minimize the risk of him getting ill.

Aside from having FIV and missing several incisors, Big Mac appears healthy. He is neutered, rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV negative, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. He currently weighs approximately 12 pounds.
Big Mac's adoption fee is $175.
