Meet Big Boy, 11 pounds of orange-and-white personality, opinions, and pure ginger charm! <br/><br/>Big Boy recently arrived at Homeward Bound after being rescued from a difficult situation involving a large, struggling colony. A kindhearted woman had taken in numerous cats while trying to help as many as she could, but with the number of cats in her care growing beyond what was manageable, Big Boy simply wasn't thriving in such a crowded, stressful environment.<br/><br/>And honestly? This big orange guy seems ready for a fresh start. <br/><br/>Big Boy is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV+. He's healthy, uses his litter box, and is VERY vocal and social. He loves rubbing against your legs, chatting with his people, and will happily play when someone takes the time to engage him.<br/><br/>He also has a BIG personality. Big Boy has been known to throw his weight around with the other cats, and the busy colony environment clearly wasn't bringing out his best side. Because of that, we think he would be happiest as the only cat in his loving home, where he can have his own space, his own people, and plenty of attention.<br/><br/>Big Boy is still learning what life as an indoor companion is all about, so he'll need someone patient who understands that a cat with a strong personality may need a little time, guidance, and boundaries. He isn't currently a lap-cat candidate, but he LOVES being near his people and making sure they know exactly what he thinks. <br/><br/>In other words, Big Boy doesn't need a home that expects him to be perfect on day one.
