Benito's Story
Benito is a sweet, affectionate 7-month-old kitten who loves to be held and cuddled like a baby. Once he feels comfortable, he’s all about being close to his people - happy to curl up next to you or follow you from room to room. In his foster home, he’s shown himself to be both a snuggler and a busy little guy who likes to stay involved in whatever’s going on.

When he’s not snuggled up or watching the world from the window, Benito is full of energy—racing around with his feline friends, wrestling, and keeping himself entertained. He has soft fur and loves to be pet, rewarding you with lots of purring. He’s also quite vocal and isn’t shy about letting you know when he wants attention (or another snack!). He’s a smart little guy who quickly learns routines and always seems to know how to win people over.

He can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and really blossoms with a bit of time and a calm environment.

Benito was rescued from Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood after being found with a broken jaw and an old bite wound. He’s healed up beautifully and doesn’t need any ongoing care. He does have a slightly crooked smile and had one tooth removed to make eating easier - just a little detail that makes him even more special.

Benito gets along great with other cats and would be a perfect match for a young, confident, playful feline friend who can keep up with him.

He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite-free.

His adoption fee is $150. To meet him, email Liz at liz@catsinaction.org
and fill out an application.
