Bengie, Sweet Special Needs Bengal's Story

Meet our adorably sweet young guy named Bengie! Bengie is about 2 years old and he came to our shelter after he was found rummaging around in a dumpster not far from our shelter. We do believe he is a Bengal. Bengie was friendly and outgoing with us right away, but we could tell something was off. Turns out Bengie's retinas are detached and he is now blind because of this. Being blind hasn't slowed Bengie down though! He is still an active boy who can get around quite well. He uses his whiskers well to manage around walls and obstacles. Bengie is a talkative fellow who loves attention and loves to eat! He is fine with other cats and does not mind being around them. Bengie will need multiple large litter boxes in his home that he can find to use. Bengie is a happy guy who will keep his new family entertained! He can go to a home with children 10 years old and older.

If you are interested in adopting Bengie Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application!
