Meet Beatrice! Beatrice is the brave little leader of a litter of five kittens who survived a very rough start in life. She and her siblings were found living in poor conditions and had never experienced human interaction before being rescued in April at about 6 weeks of age. Because of that, learning to trust people has been a slow journey, but they are making amazing progress every day! <br/><br/>Beatrice has naturally taken on the role of protector and big sister to her siblings. She is curious, playful, and always keeping an eye on the others. One of her favorite things is chasing toy balls that make little sounds, and she lights up during playtime. <br/><br/>Even though she is doing a wonderful job learning to feel safe around people, Beatrice still needs patience, understanding, and a calm home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. With love and time, she has all the potential to become a loyal and affectionate companion. <br/><br/>Beatrice is looking for a home that understands rescue kittens and will give her the kindness and patience she deserves while she continues to grow and learn to trust. A home without small children would be best; calm, cat-friendly dogs may be ok. Beatrice has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
