Barbos's Story

Meet Barbos!

This handsome sweetheart was abandoned by his family and found himself trying to survive at one of our managed colonies. He tried so hard to make friends with the feral cats, but Barbos is just far too gentle and affectionate for life outside.
The moment we approached him, he walked right into the carrier and headed straight to the vet, where he was estimated as 2-3 yo, neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Thankfully, Barbos is FeLV negative, but he did test FIV+. While we know FIV is absolutely manageable and FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives alongside FIV- cats, the vet also warned us that he would eventually need extensive dental work.
Our poor teddy bear lost 16 teeth, but recovered beautifully and is now feeling so much better — happy, healthy, and ready to love someone with his whole heart
If you're looking for the most affectionate companion, Barbos is your guy. He loves attention, loves people, and deserves a family that will never abandon him again.
Barbos is being fostered in Brooklyn, NY, but the transportation can be arranged anywhere in NYC/LI/NJ

If you are interested in our kittens and would like to arrange the meet and greet at fosters homes, please complete the adoption application using the following link (copy & paste it into your browser) https://form.jotform.com/82828565257166
or text us for more info at 908-986-2505
