Meet Bailey! She's a shy, but very sweet and affectionate, 3-5 year old Domestic Short Hair that was brought to SCAC after being abandoned in an apartment after her owner was evicted. Although this shy girl is working on coming out of her shell, she enjoys soaking up love and attention from the people she trusts. Bailey is going to need a home that will understand she may take longer than usual to warm up to her new surroundings. A quiet home with teenagers or mellow felines would be best for Bailey. Second Chance Animal Center's Adoption Policy
Second Chance has an online adoption application process for cats, dogs, and small critters. Veterinarian and landlord contact information is required on all applications. Once application is submitted, it may take several days for us to follow up with all appropriate contact information. We will initially respond via email but feel free to call us directly with any follow-up questions. We always encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance of your visit to our shelter. Same-day feline adoptions are possible with pre-approved applications. Canine adoptions take several visits as dog-to-dog and family meet-and-greets are required.
